Canon Margaret and Rev.Tim Dean’s Retirement Lunch

On Sunday 30 July, Canon Margaret Dean and her husband Rev. Tim Dean led their last Benefice Service in St Mary’s, attended by many members of the congregations from the four parishes of the former Reepham Benefice,  and representatives of the schools and businesses and wider community of Reepham. The churchwardens from Salle, Wood Dalling, Thurning and Reepham made short and heartfelt speeches of thanks for the enormous contributions the Deans have made to the Benefice. A presentation was made which included a photo album containing messages and photos of their many friends in Reepham. Following the Service a lunch was held in St Michael’s for 80 people hosted by the Events Team led by Pauline Cooper and her family. A choice of salmon or ham and salads, followed by a choice of three delicious desserts were served, accompanied by Pimms.
