Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Benefice Zoom Meeting on Thursday 18th June. It was lovely to see so many of you joining us and we are particularly grateful to those of you who joined Zoom for the first time to be present at the meeting. Your effort and input is much appreciated!
There were some very interesting discussions about how we will be opening our buildings and what private prayer might look like in the coming months across our Benefice. We were joined by the Venerable Ian Bentley, Archdeacon for Lynn, who explained that the opening of our churches will be done “slowly, steadily and safely” to ensure that our communities, volunteers, visitors and congregations are not put at greater risk. Please click on the link here to read the combined notes from each group as well as emails which were submitted to Rev’d Helen and Rev’d Keith.
Since the meeting, the Government has made further announcements that church can be opened for public worship from 4th July 2020. We will be updating the website for services and private prayer times as our church builds start to reopen.
