Home made soup lunches

The first two of the home made soup lunches have taken place on 29th Sept and 6th Oct. For those who have not yet discovered the Soup lunches served on Thursdays in October and during Lent: there is a choice of 3 homemade soups on offer, bread and cheese, followed by tea or coffee and biscuits.

There is no fixed charge, we just invite you to make a donation.The remaining October Soup Lunches are on 13th and 27th October. There is no soup lunch on 20th October as Messy Church takes place in St Michael’s on the third Thursday of the month. So for future reference just remember October and Lent Soup lunches but check the dates of the four lunches. The dates will appear on the posters, website calendar as well as in Town & Country Magazine.

All are welcome and it was great to see some of our local business people coming in during their lunch break and enjoying a bowl of hearty and warming home made soup and a chat as well as some of the pupils from the 6th form College.
