4 Days – 37 Miles – 12 Churches – 1 Vicar!
Due to Covid-19, we have been unable to worship together in our church buildings. Unfortunately this has meant that regular donations from congregations and visitors that we rely on to help our work in our communities has reduced dramatically. These donations are vital for the work we do in our communities and the groups we run. It was at one such group that Scott suggested that a sponsored walk would be a great way to raise funds for our benefice. A quick whip round sealed the deal and it was on that day that we realised that not all superheroes wear capes; some of them wear dog collars!
To help raise funds for all our 12 churches, Rev’s Helen is doing a sponsored walk taking the 37 mile Walsingham Way Pilgrimage from Norwich Cathedral to the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham. The route takes in part of our benefice and Rev’d Helen is hoping to complete the challenge in 4 days.
