Auction of Promises, Friday 21st October

Over 100 people attended The Auction of Promises held in St Michael’s to raise funds for the Three Churches Project.

Our Auctioneer for the evening, Ken Ewing, kept up a phenomenal and lively pace to auction over 70 wondrous and varied lots generously given by local businesses and individual supporters of the event.

The canapés were plentiful and delicious, thanks to our many individual talented local cooks.

A huge thank you to Ken and Jane Ewing, the team of organisers and helpers, to all those who bid for the lots and to all who attended or otherwise supported the event.

The evening raised the magnificent sum of around £4,500 for the Project, which will enable a scheme to mark the outline of All Saints to proceed.
