Our Wild Messy Church groups from Lyng and Great Witchingham met in September and it was great to be back outside in the sunshine together!
This month we looked at shelter and the different ways we can find shelter. There were lots of volunteers to help make dens from sticks and branches – some big enough for us to get in, others small but perfectly formed for our teddies!
We then had a go at making structures from marshmallows and spaghetti… there are some brilliant builders and architects amongst us!
We talked about how God is our shelter and strength and keeps us under His wing in times of hardship and shared a meal together.
Wild Messy Church meets on the first Friday of the month in Lyng Village Hall from 4pm to 5.30pm and on the Second Sunday of the month at Great Witchingham Village Hall from 4pm. Sessions are free* and suitable for all the family. We share crafts, games, stories and food together with a different theme each month.
