The Transatlantic Hot Club: Al Fresco Concert at Elsing Hall to raise funds for Norfolk Churches Trust

An evening of French gypsy jazz in the garden at Elsing Hall

Saturday 10th June 6.30pm

In aid of the Norfolk Churches Trust

One of the top international gypsy swing bands, The Transatlantic Hot Club, will be arriving direct from Paris to play at Elsing Hall in June.

They will be playing music of the kind made popular in the 1930’s by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, performed in their own inimitable style. The band is led by one of the world’s foremost jazz harpists Ben Creighton Griffiths from Cardiff, together with New York’s premier jazz violinist Adrien Chevalier – hence the Transatlantic moniker. They play extensively in America and Europe and this is a rare opportunity to hear them in the UK set in the beautiful surroundings of Elsing Hall (NR20 3DX).

Playing alongside Ben and Adrien will be Ashley John Long from Cardiff on Double Bass and Corsican accordionist Jeremy Lohier.

The performance is in the walled garden at Elsing Hall, so please bring you own blankets/ chairs and you are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy French gypsy jazz at its best.

Tickets £20
