The Blessed Virgin Mary. (August 15th)
Nothing is impossible for God.
Matter from chaos formed, time from eternity,
he made a universe of suns and planets,
of regulation, order, movement and variety.
Nothing is impossible for God.
He made creation’s wonderland,
animals, flowers, fruits and plants,
each praising by their being.
Nothing is impossible for God.
Alone into a world run wild with sin,
he sent a maid untouched by Adam’s fault,
humble, fit to serve, she answered “Yes!”
Her child conceived, the Son of God,
humbled majesty, from power to weakness,
subject to the human law of death,
immortal now made mortal,
for nothing is impossible for God,
to make us understand our worth.
All this he did to save our fallen race,
and to convince us of his love.
