Welcome to Wild Messy Church!
Wild Messy Church is for children with their families and carers. We meet on 2nd Wednesday of the month in Lyng and District Community Hall from 3.30pm.
At Wild Messy Church we do crafts and activities based on the theme for the day, followed by a lively time of celebration, with songs, a story often involving puppets, and prayer. Depending on the weather and the time of year, we also have lots of outdoors games and activities. Family and children then share a meal together, with time to chat and make new friends.
During term time in Great Witchingham Village Hall on the 2nd Sunday at 3pm we have Wild Messy Church. Depending on the weather and season, we also venture outside for games and activities.
There are lots of crafts and stories for children to share with their families as well as light refreshments (cake!) at the end. Sessions are free and last about an hour. There are hot drinks for grown ups and toys for our younger visitors. Each month we have a different theme, previous themes have included Hope, the World Cup, Remembrance Sunday, Peace, Easter and Love. Everyone is welcome to drop by, you don’t need to book.
